Didi Benami Eliminated
American Idol season 9 lost another hopeful Wednesday as the vote results were revealed and Didi Benami drew the short stick. In addition to the requisite elimination action, the AI results show featured a performance by season 2 Idol Ruben Studdard, the world premiere of Diddy-Dirty Money's Hello, Good Morning, and naturally, more catfighting between Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell.
The American Idol results show finally, finally, finally got to what we were waiting for about 18 minutes in: Actual results. Lee DeWyze was the first contestant to be named to the top 9, followed by Casey James and Aaron Kelly. Siobhan Magnus and Katie Stevens were next to stand; Siobhan was proclaimed safe and dissolved into tears, while Katie was relegated to the bottom three. Simon must've made some sort of comment about Katie's position near the bottom of the pack because Ryan flew toward him and told him (paraphrased, of course) to stop being a jerk, which impelled a defensive set of remarks from the Briton. It was awkward, as open hostility on national TV is always awkward. But I got over it.
But no, still no final results. Instead, Diddy - Dirty Money hit the stage with the world premiere of Hello, Good Morning from the upcoming release Last Train to Paris. Since I had to look it up myself, I figure I'll share the goods on exactly who Diddy - Dirty Money is: Diddy is none other than Diddy, the man formerly known as Puff Daddy, Puffy and a bunch of other Magic Dragonesque monikers. Dirty Money is comprised of Dawn Richard and Kalenna. Anyway, it was a strobing, insanely energetic offering that left me feeling tired. But also oddly amped.
The night's American Idol results show action came to a crescendo as Didi Benami was named the week's lowest vote-getter and found herself singing for her life. The pretty blonde chose Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon for her save attempt, but after the judges' deliberation, Simon told her that she wouldn't be staying in the competition. (*)

Nicole Henry Biggest Sensation
Jazz singer Nicole Henry performed in front of the highest number of fans of her life at the Orange Bowl. The Miami University graduated sang Spangled Banner. In the Lank Shark Stadium, she performed in front of 75000 college Football fans and reached more people through a three minutes song on television than any other time. Indeed, her performance at the coldest Orange Bowl was the biggest sensation of the game.
It was my national live debut, told Nicole to SunSentinel. About Spangled Banner, she told that she enjoyed that song and she thinks that song does have intimacy in it. She has changed her luck by releasing two top 10 CD’s over the last four years.
youTube is offering the video of Nicole Henry’s last night’s performance and eager guys are enjoying the video. Besides her performance on Spangled Banner, everyone was seen talking on her performance on National Anthem during half time.
It seems she get confuse before the mob as she said that she used to talk with someone just before her name is called for performance and she get anxious when she comes to know that she has just one song to sing.
There are lots of complements for her last night’s performance. People want to see her performing at Barbados Jazz Festival too. One fan said.
It’s rare to see a jazz singer using restraint, space soul and personal expressiveness with the lyrics all together. (*)
